Recently, Forex Armageddon was released. It promises to teach anyone how to improve the forex returns and increase forex profits. But is it true? Or are these all more lies told by the Forex gurus to capitalize on your failure?

Should you Buy Forex Armageddon?

Well, when deciding to buy any forex guide (or product for that matter), you need to look at separate areas of the product, in order to make the best decision. When thinking about buying a forex guide, you should ask yourself these questions:

Does it show Proof?

Is it Easy for Anyone to Pick up and Follow?

Is it based on a fluke or “mistake system?”

Does the reader really have the chance to achieve the same results?

By asking yourself these questions, and answering them BEFORE you buy, then you will have less problems down the road.

So how does the Forex Armageddon system hold up to these areas? By stacking it up in all of these areas, it is very apparent, that the creator has followed a guideline, that produced results for anyone to follow.

First of all, within the first 5 minutes of reading the site, you are presented with tons of proof that the system delivers over and over again. Also, it’s not just one picture of a “good day”, there are multiple pictures displaying similar results.

Which leads me to the next point. Obviously, this guide can show you how to achieve similar results not just once, but many times over. If you don’t know what a “Fluke system” or a “mistake system” is, these are systems that were achieved only by mistake, or chance, and DO NOT produce the same (or similar) results many times over again.

So what about being Easy to follow and Achievable by others. FX (short for forex) Armageddon seemingly does well in both areas. Not only can someone who has never traded forex before, be able to pick this guide up and do so, it also covers the exact methods on how to do so in an easy to follow step-by-step format.

Overall, Forex Armageddon fills all the specified quotas, and does so with ease. Definitely recommended for the aspiring Forex Millionaire.

In terms of price, Armageddon rides in with a fair $77 price tag. This may seem somewhat high, but compared to most other guides and software of the same class, it’s actually a bit cheaper, while still being worth the same. Not to mention it’s 8 week guarantee, of course!

If you’re interested in reading more about this product, you can check out my Forex Armageddon Review.

For those unfamiliar with the term, FOREX (FOReign EXchange market), refers to an international exchange market where currencies are bought and sold. The Foreign Exchange Market that we see today began in the 1970′s, when free exchange rates and floating currencies were introduced. In such an environment only participants in the market determine the price of one currency against another, based upon supply and demand for that currency.

FOREX is a somewhat unique market for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is one of the few markets in which it can be said with very few qualifications that it is free of external controls and that it cannot be manipulated. It is also the largest liquid financial market, with trade reaching between 1 and 1.5 trillion US dollars a day. With this much money moving this fast, it is clear why a single investor would find it near impossible to significantly affect the price of a major currency. Furthermore, the liquidity of the market means that unlike some rarely traded stock, traders are able to open and close positions within a few seconds as there are always willing buyers and sellers.

Another somewhat unique characteristic of the FOREX money market is the variance of its participants. Investors find a number of reasons for entering the market, some as longer term hedge investors, while others utilize massive credit lines to seek large short term gains. Interestingly, unlike blue-chip stocks, which are usually most attractive only to the long term investor, the combination of rather constant but small daily fluctuations in currency prices, create an environment which attracts investors with a broad range of strategies.

How FOREX Works

Transactions in foreign currencies are not centralized on an exchange, unlike say the NYSE, and thus take place all over the world via telecommunications. Trade is open 24 hours a day from Sunday afternoon until Friday afternoon (00:00 GMT on Monday to 10:00 pm GMT on Friday). In almost every time zone around the world, there are dealers who will quote all major currencies. After deciding what currency the investor would like to purchase, he or she does so via one of these dealers (some of which can be found online). It is quite common practice for investors to speculate on currency prices by getting a credit line (which are available to those with capital as small as $500), and vastly increase their potential gains and losses. This is called marginal trading.

Marginal Trading

Marginal trading is simply the term used for trading with borrowed capital. It is appealing because of the fact that in FOREX investments can be made without a real money supply. This allows investors to invest much more money with fewer money transfer costs, and open bigger positions with a much smaller amount of actual capital. Thus, one can conduct relatively large transactions, very quickly and cheaply, with a small amount of initial capital. Marginal trading in an exchange market is quantified in lots. The term “lot” refers to approximately $100,000, an amount which can be obtained by putting up as little as 0.5% or $500.

EXAMPLE: You believe that signals in the market are indicating that the British Pound will go up against the US Dollar. You open 1 lot for buying the Pound with a 1% margin at the price of 1.49889 and wait for the exchange rate to climb. At some point in the future, your predictions come true and you decide to sell. You close the position at 1.5050 and earn 61 pips or about $405. Thus, on an initial capital investment of $1,000, you have made over 40% in profits. (Just as an example of how exchange rates change in the course of a day, an average daily change of the Euro (in Dollars) is about 70 to 100 pips.)

When you decide to close a position, the deposit sum that you originally made is returned to you and a calculation of your profits or losses is done. This profit or loss is then credited to your account.

Investment Strategies: Technical Analysis and Fundamental Analysis

The two fundamental strategies in investing in FOREX are Technical Analysis or Fundamental Analysis. Most small and medium sized investors in financial markets use Technical Analysis. This technique stems from the assumption that all information about the market and a particular currency’s future fluctuations is found in the price chain. That is to say, that all factors which have an effect on the price have already been considered by the market and are thus reflected in the price. Essentially then, what this type of investor does is base his/her investments upon three fundamental suppositions. These are: that the movement of the market considers all factors, that the movement of prices is purposeful and directly tied to these events, and that history repeats itself. Someone utilizing technical analysis looks at the highest and lowest prices of a currency, the prices of opening and closing, and the volume of transactions. This investor does not try to outsmart the market, or even predict major long term trends, but simply looks at what has happened to that currency in the recent past, and predicts that the small fluctuations will generally continue just as they have before.

A Fundamental Analysis is one which analyzes the current situations in the country of the currency, including such things as its economy, its political situation, and other related rumors. By the numbers, a country’s economy depends on a number of quantifiable measurements such as its Central Bank’s interest rate, the national unemployment level, tax policy and the rate of inflation. An investor can also anticipate that less quantifiable occurrences, such as political unrest or transition will also have an effect on the market. Before basing all predictions on the factors alone, however, it is important to remember that investors must also keep in mind the expectations and anticipations of market participants. For just as in any stock market, the value of a currency is also based in large part on perceptions of and anticipations about that currency, not solely on its reality.

Make Money with Currency Trading on FOREX

FOREX investing is one of the most potentially rewarding types of investments available. While certainly the risk is great, the ability to conduct marginal trading on FOREX means that potential profits are enormous relative to initial capital investments. Another benefit of FOREX is that its size prevents almost all attempts by others to influence the market for their own gain. So that when investing in foreign currency markets one can feel quite confident that the investment he or she is making has the same opportunity for profit as other investors throughout the world. While investing in FOREX short term requires a certain degree of diligence, investors who utilize a technical analysis can feel relatively confident that their own ability to read the daily fluctuations of the currency market are sufficiently adequate to give them the knowledge necessary to make informed investments.

Learning to trade commodities is becoming more and more popular. An increasing number of private individual investors are moving away from straight equity stock investments and moving into new markets in search of ways to make money.

The fallout from the sub prime crisis in the US has been much greater than many commentators expected. As credit defaults have increased, the cost of borrowing has increased significantly as lenders in all areas (mortgages, credit cards, personal loans) become more wary of lending cheaply. This effect has become known as the credit crunch. However the credit squeeze has not stopped there. Virtually all businesses are funded in part by debt. As a direct result of this increased cost of debt, most business are now being hit with higher costs that impact their profits. As profits fall, so too do company stock prices.

Why learn to trade commodities?

From July 2007 to Jul 2008 the Dow Jones Industrial Average stock exchange fell in value by about 19%. In the same period Crude Oil has risen in value by about 112%. This fact just highlights the difference in performance between the equity sector and the commodities sectors.

The main difference between the two markets is that the commodity markets are demand driven. By their nature commodities are limited in supply, for example there is only a limited amount of oil in the ground. As econnomies grow and use up more of these resources the supply reduces while at the same time the demand continues to increase. These two effects can only ave one result – an increase in prices.

Get started today by learning to trade commodities or how to invest in oil to start making money today.

Now that the foreclosure crisis has taken the economic lives of hundreds of mortgage lenders, a handful of banks, and untold numbers of families, it makes sense to evaluate what has happened to engineer the events now taking place. With a central bank controlling the money supply and the nation enjoying issuing the reserve currency of the world, it is not difficult to analyze how the country has been set up to be sold off to the highest secret foreign corporate bidders.

When the internet and telecommunications bubbles were on their way up in the late 1990s, and in the middle of a decade of strong dollar policies coming from the Federal Reserve, US financial companies had great power over the investment flows between nations. With a little plotting, it was quite easy for speculators to remove capital from the Southeast Asian nations and collapse their currencies.

The next step was for the International Monetary Fund and World Bank to offer these nations in deep economic shock some handy therapy, in the form of loans. In return, the nations had to agree to privatize many of their public services, closing down state-run plants and utilities and selling the assets on the open market. Multinational corporations then moved in to take over these assets and run them for profit at the expense of the people living in them.

With the strong dollar policy and the collapse of the foreign nations’ currencies, the corporations could move in and buy the formerly state-owned assets for relatively cheaply. They took dollars near their peak value and invested them in the assets in other countries that were near their low value in terms of the value of the foreign currencies.

Then, while these foreign nations were starved for capital and could offer manufacturing and labor for cheap, most of the American manufacturing base was outsourced to these same countries. While trillions of dollars have been leaving the United States to these countries, the housing bubble is created to entice people into purchasing real estate they can not afford for long.

Creative new loans are designed and accepted by banks and investment companies to ensure that the bubble will collapse. The foreclosure crisis is engineered in two ways. First, the largest banks are financing the movement of assets overseas, thereby removing jobs from the economy and pushing workers into bankruptcy or foreclosure. The same banks that homeowners send their mortgage payments to every month are the ones giving loans to manufacturers to ship jobs overseas and downsize homeowners.

Second, even if some homeowners can keep hold of their current jobs, resetting interest rates will double their payments in a few short years. With the Federal Reserve in control of manipulating interest rates, it is quite easy to drive millions into foreclosure. The Fed began raising interest rates, which decreased home values and put the first cracks into the entire housing industry facade. People could not afford the mortgage payment, and negative equity positions ensured they could not sell.

Once rates were increased and the crisis became self-sustaining, they were taken down again, collapsing the value of the American currency, the dollar. Now, with the dollar at a low, the investments the corporations made in the Asian currencies are worth much more, even as the value of assets, real estate prices, and the stock market in the US are falling. Now, these corporations that made trillions of dollars investing in the assets of countries with collapsed currencies can take their profits and drive values down even further in America and buy assets for cheap.

With the collapse of the Government Sponsored Enterprises like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and a steadily declining stock market, the entire country is ripe for the privatizing. As the federal government decides how much to reward the moral risk of making poor loans, corporations flush with appreciating foreign currencies are just waiting for the right moment to invest in such assets. They will be buying the country with the money they control, and using positions of power which allow them to collude into engineering these bubbles for their own profits and to increase their control.

So broker inevitable has finally happened. A few months back the government authorized themselves the power 4x take over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac “should the need arise”. Yesterday the government finally pulled the trigger on their carefully planned take over of the mortgage giants that are responsible for about $6 trillion dollars in mortgage debt between the two of them. This debt is now no longer held by the independent Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. It is now you and I, the average tax payer that is responsible for half of the mortgage debt in the U.S.

Make no mistake; this is the largest government bailout of a financial company in U.S. history. The Government will immediately invest about $30M of liquidity into these companies, but in reality most experts agree that the Government will invest at least $250 Billion into the two firms before it is over. These are companies that reported about $14 Billion dollars in losses over the last year.

Why would the Government do such a thing you ask?

They never had a choice!

Had the Gov. not stepped in now and engineered this indefinite Gov. “conservatorship” the fall of these two behemoths was inevitable. Had we seen either or both of these companies fall it would undoubtedly have been the end for the U.S economy and likely a catalyst for a global meltdown. This is big stakes folks. There was no way Uncle Sam was going to let these companies fall, and hey if you are going to bailout the biggest financial firms in the country… why not make a little money while your at it right!

The Gov. will be given nearly 80% of preferred stock in the companies with a guaranteed 10% annual return. All those other investors holding stock are now in 2nd place if anything should happen being Uncle Sam

What does this mean to the average Joe?

Well here is the good news. The day after the Feds shot their bazooka at the financial meltdown, the 30 year interest rates fell from 6.25% down to 5.5% overnight! This is in large part because interest rates are risk based. The lower the risk the lower the rates. Now that Uncle Sam is taking charge the market is GUARANTEED by the Fed Gov. to not fail. No matter how much cash it takes to stay afloat Uncle Sam is willing to foot the bill. This means far less risk and therefore far lower rates. We are predicting that very soon we will see par interest rates in the low 5% range!

This not only provides lower rates but also more liquidity into a strangled credit market. The spigot just got opened a little further and we are now drizzling mortgage financing instead of dripping it. So in addition to lower rates and more liquidity we are predicting that the actual cost of banks lending money will decrease which should drive some investor interest back into the mortgage backed securities. This “could” result in slightly less stringent underwriting standards allowing more people to snatch up some of the excess housing inventory that is hammering home prices.

New construction has already decreased significantly so lower rates, more affordable loans, and more accessible financing could be the catalyst to get us on the road to a housing recovery.

What about the future of Fannie & Freddie?

This is where the Gov. is flying blind. Their hands were forced to step in and their “conservatorship” is open ended. This means that the truly hard decisions will be left to whoever becomes president of the United States in our next elections cycle and their Congress. Senator McCain has hinted that he would like to see the companies broken up or at the very least down sized considerably. Senator Obama on the other hand has seemed to tend toward more regulation but allowing them to remain more unchanged.

Yet another reason to stay on top of politics this year and delve deeply into the policies of our two candidates!

Here is to hoping you and your family can take advantage of the lower rates and cheaper financing… hey… you paid for it!

You work in a big organization. You are earning handsome salary every month. However, you spend almost all your income, as you have no control over your monthly expenditure. You want to save money and that’s why you are searching for the most reliable and profitable investment option. In the present time, online stock trading is one of the most profitable options available in the market.

However, there are other options available in the market but limitations are always there such as lock-in period, fixed interest rate, etc. On the other hand, stock trading is not attached with these limitations. You can earn substantial profits in a very short period of time. In this type of investment method, investors can manage their hard earned money in the best possible way.

However, there are many questions that investors often ask: how to make maximum profits from trading stocks, what are the things that need to be considered before investing, do they need to know computer and the Internet for Internet based trading, etc. It is therefore very important to clear these points before you actually start trading online. Since, knowledge about the stock market is very crucial in order to trade intelligently and effectively.

Let’s take each and every point one by one – before you start investing in stocks, you need to plan intelligently. How much you want to invest and how much return you expect from your investment. As far as computer knowledge is concerned, computer knowledge is not essential. Since the websites for trading have been designed so intuitively, investors can easily get used to the features that are available on the site. In addition, video tutorials on the website helps understand the features easily and effectively.

What investors need to do is to learn the basic things about the market. How to buy and sell stocks, how to analyze the market before trading, how to keep you abreast of the market news, and try to judge the changing market moods. These are the most important points that investors need to know. So, the next question arises is how and where to get the answers to these questions? You can access a wealth of information from the Internet. You can also access these information from the company’s website where you have an online account.

It is really important to understand the stock market moods – what you need to understand about the market? First of all, market analysis is done using analysis tools. Company websites provide advanced marketing tools – you only need to fill some of the data and find out the result. With this analysis, you can easily determine the stock price graph and then decide whether it is the right time to buy or sell stocks.

There are lots of income opportunities available these days. Let some of them be glanced through:

Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs have been used very commonly for generating income online. All that the owner of website is required to do is signing up in the form of an affiliate, that too with merchant, and paste the code of merchant on to web site of his. Any of the sales generated by such a link entitle affiliate to commission. There’re several web sites offering affiliate programs. One amongst them is WorldadvertisingPages.com. Various income opportunities are available through affiliate programs. You just need to grab them.

Auctions

Online auctions can be referred to as online flea marketplaces wherein participants perform the task of bidding for services and products over internet. Online auctions make way for winners, losers, bidders, and sellers, like any local auctions. Items can be sold by sellers in lots or by piece. Items which have been won through auctions should be paid for by winners. One of the most reputable website dealing with auctions today is eBay. Thus, income opportunities come in great numbers through online auctions.

Bloggings

Blogging can be referred to as posting of a material on blog, known as online journal. Use of blog can be made for making money by the way of directing traffic towards a particular website or product. Such web logs could help you in getting more business as well as earning higher profits. Affiliate links can also be posted on the blog of yours and commissions can be earned for promotion of services and products of other people. This is indeed, the most brilliant one amongst various income opportunities.

Foreclosure

A foreclosure can be referred to as the process through which ownership of a property is taken by mortgage lender owing to default in terms of payment on the part of homeowner. Mortgage lenders tend to have foreclosed homes sold at auction. Potential homeowners or investors can buy such homes at abridged prices. A foreclosure can be looked upon as one of the greatest income opportunities as buying of home can be done at a cheaper rate and reselling can be done to the other person at the fair market rate.

Forex

Forex can be referred to as ‘Foreign Exchange’. Forex can be used for trading currencies and making money. The presence of Forex market can be found at places where a currency gets traded for the other. Trading with respect to Forex has disadvantages as well. The biggest one is the risk involved in it. You need to have the market studied properly and then trade on normal terms before going for trading with respect to Forex. Forex, if carried out with sheer confidence, can prove to be one of the excellent income opportunities.

Freelance

Freelancing can be thought of as one of the greatest alternatives to serving in the 9 to 5 world. In the form of a freelancer, you can offer services on the professional level to the clients of yours. The largest advantage if freelance is of being the boss yourself. Here, instead of being an employee, you can operate as an independent or a business contractor. Careers relating to freelancing are accessible in several diverse fields, right from writing to accounting to designing of web. So, aren’t such income opportunities interesting?

I’m here to help you get the best currency trading advice that I have to give. I going to help you look at trading as a simple task to make money, rather than this complicated task that makes you feel like you’re gambling.

The first thinking pattern you’re going to need to learn is that the value of a currency is only useful if it is in contrast with another. Saying the USD = 1.02 means absolutely nothing to you, but USD/CAD = 1.02 does. All I’m trying to say is that you got to always be looking at currencies in pairs. A currency doesn’t have a value, only a value with respect to other currencies.

The next thing you’re going to have to get past is something we get from our consumer culture; cheap prices. We as consumers are always looking for cheap prices on what we buy. The cheaper it is, the better off we think we are. But this only applies if you plan to buy and use for yourself. In this business you’re buying with the intention of selling later. What you’ll learn is that the price you sell at, is much more important than the one you buy at. Expensive currencies that are expected to keep going up are probably a better buy than cheap currencies that don’t have an expected outcome.

Lastly, you need to develop a confident demeanor. The last thing you need is to get cautious and hesitate on trades. It only causes you to miss out on opportunities and stress out. The only real way to gain confidence is through positive experience, so that’s why I suggest you use a demo account to make real live trades without actually using your own money. This gives you real world experience and when you’re comfortable enough, you can start to use your own money.

This is the best currency trading information you need to incorporate into your head today. I’m currently giving a 7 day free forex training course. Newbies and experienced are all welcome. If you’re interested in participating, check out the Casual Forex Trader.

What is a dividend?

A dividend is the profit paid by companies to its shareholders. When a company earns profit, it can use the money in two ways. It can retain the profits and invest them either to pay off their debts or expand the business. This investment is called retained earnings.

The second way of utilizing the profits is to pay them to the shareholders. This payment is called dividend.

Most blue chip companies like AT&T, G.E, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, Wal-Mart and so on pay dividends to their shareholders. For example, you may get $0.15 every year on every share you own. Some companies break up the annual dividend into four parts and pay each part quarterly-four times a year.

1/4th of $0.15 may not appear a substantial amount, but if you own a portfolio of hundreds or thousands of shares, it becomes quite an income.

Most investors reinvest their dividends into the shares of the same company through dividend reinvestment plans also called DRIPs. A great advantage to the investor is that he usually does not have to pay commissions on reinvestments.

Another benefit is that you do not have to make any fresh investment. You can invest as little as $10 to $25. Dividend reinvestments take place automatically. You only need to instruct your broker to invest your dividends every time it is issued.

Dividend reinvestment plans provide a level playing field to investors. You do not need large amounts of money to start investing. You can start investing with almost next to nothing and over the years you end up with huge earnings.

The best part of DRIP investing is that you do not have to keep guessing about the market trends very often. You are in for a long haul market. A market slump is a welcome occurrence because it may help you buy more shares than when it is high. Years later you feel happy at having invested through DRIPs because you would have otherwise spent your money on something you really did not need.

DRIPs and Dollar Cost Averaging

Since usually you do not have to pay any commissions on DRIPs, you can take up two risk reducing strategies. You can diversify your assets and engage in dollar cost averaging. A diversified portfolio allows balancing out the risks of losses in lazy shares.

On the other hand, dollar cost averaging can improve your gains dramatically especially if you invest on long term basis. In addition to that you have to commit yourself to investing the same fixed dollar amount on every purchase date.

This can be explained by the following example:

Suppose you invest $60 every month and the market is rising. You start investing in January. The price of a share is $5 and you buy 12 shares. In February, the price rises to $10 and you buy 6 shares. In March, the price has further increased to $20 and you buy 3 shares.

You buy a total of 21 shares for an investment of $180 in three months. The average price per share comes out to be $11.67 .You actual cost per share comes out to be less than $9 ($180 divided by 21 shares).

You gain the same benefits in falling and fluctuating market as well. Your cost per share is bound to be lower than the average cost of shares during the period you are investing. You cost per share will be reduced further because you are not paying brokerage.

You can further reduce your costs if you try to create and maintain your stock portfolio yourself rather than paying to the professionals to do so for you.

Since DRIPs have long term perspectives, the savings in service charges to professionals can become huge over the time. The process is not as difficult as you imagine it to be. And it can prove to be a fun. Moreover it is not the day trading portfolio that you have to manage, but investment portfolio where the investments take place only a fewer times every year rather than daily.

Important dates to remember

The first is the date of Declaration of the dividend. The second date is Record date when the company provides the list of the shareholders who are entitled to receive the dividend. You must be listed as a shareholder before this date to get the dividend.

The third date is Ex-dividend date which usually falls 2-4 days before the record date. The fourth date is Payment date when the checks are posted to the shareholders.

Why Choose Sogotrade: cheap trading stock options
